Garmin-Asus announces nuvifone A50By Jeff Baker - 02/11/2010 7:06:40 AM |

Garmin-Asus has today announced the nuvifone A50. This Android touting device features a 3.5″ capacitive touchscreen, 4GB of storage, a microSD slot and an accelerometer. Of course, as you can see from the picture, Garmin and Asus have outfitted the device with a custom UI. Couple that with a 3 megapixel autofocusing camera and a WebKit based internet browser and you have yourself quite a nice little device.
And, since it is Garmin, the device will have a highly sensitive GPS receiver for all of your location finding needs.
There’s no word on when this device will be made available but our source tells us that we will hear more about it during next week’s Mobile World Congress.
