Garmin and TomTom sold over 10 million PNDs in 2007

The fourth quarter of 2007 experienced an overall increase in demand of PNDs. As reported by the component makers despite the cut throat competition over 10 million units from TomTom and 12 million units from Garmin will have been shipped by the closing of this year. After capturing US market, both the international companies are planning to move towards the Asian market and establishing their headquarters in Taiwan. So, if you are residing in China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia or Singapore, stop being jealous of those in US. Now you will also be able to buy a navigation device for you.
