Garmin International Inc. and Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories have joined hands to launch Road Tech zūmo. The motorcycle specific GPS device features a custom handlebar mount which enables you to go for four-wheel navigation. The device will help you reach your destinations by speaking out street names turn by turn.
“The Road Tech zūmo helps Harley riders plan and navigate their route with ease,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin’s vice president of worldwide sales. “Packed with all of the preloaded features that zūmo users have come to expect and appreciate, the Road Tech zūmo anticipates the needs of Harley riders everywhere.”
The touchscreen buttons, left-handed controls and glove friendly design makes the ride more comfortable. Keep yourself updated by listening to radio while on the move, thanks to optional XM antenna and XM subscriptions. Not only this, you can attend to your hands-free calls with Bluetooth wireless technology based Road Tech zumo.
A unique theft prevention system and ability to withstand vibrations adds to the versatility. You can also keep track of your speed and fuel while driving. Though the price for Road Tech zumo has not been disclosed yet but it will be available from 4th Aug, 2008 in Harley-Davidson authorized dealerships.
