Fans of Fight Night are in for a treat, as Electronic Arts has just announced that Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward will be cover athletes for Fight Night Round 3 for PS2 and Xbox consoles. The game will be available Feb 2006 (long wait, I know).

Fight Night Round 3 for the Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation Portable, featuring an exclusive cover athlete that will be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Jan 2006.

The game features film quality graphics - you even get to see the punch impacts when Gatti takes on Micky Ward in the virtual ring. The acclaimed game gives you a chance to take on the likes of De La Hoya, Ward, Gatti, Joe Frazier, Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr.
