Though everyone is quite on the official front a number of sources claim that the game is in the works .One anonymous informant has gone on record saying “I work at an international software company, and learned some news that might be of interest to you. At a recent all-hands meeting, we discussed what we're working on in the coming year. During the meeting, we learned that we will develop for LucasArts a series of new Young Indiana Jones learning games set from 1916-1919 that will be released to coincide with a 2007 Young Indiana Jones movie”

While the same informant claims the fourth in the series, will be a Young Indiana Jones one, other sources believes that these learning games will be released in conjunction with the release of Indiana Jones 4 thus creating extra publicity for the film.
Sony announces six new titles for the PSP

Sony Computer Entertainment America continues to dish out new software titles at the burgeoning market for the PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable). The upcoming titles - six in all - will be out in Q1 of 2006. This should keep the market satisfied, at least over Q1. The proposed titles are:

Pursuit Force™

An action packed game where you play the role of a young rookie police officer who is responsible for tracking down and thwarting five criminal gangs in and around Capital City. The game features high-speed vehicle chases (on cars, bikes, SUVs, buses, and even speedboats), shootouts, aerial attacks etc. - all this in the name of justice. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Available in March 2006. Rated T.

Syphon Filter®: Dark Mirror

With its debut on the PSP platform, Dark Mirror requires you to assume the identity of Gabe Logan, a highly-trained Precision Strike Operative, who commands a US agency that legally does not exist. Gameplay features melee attacks, target lock, precision aiming, target and vision enhancements, enhanced artificial intelligence (AI), and high-tech weaponry. The game offers both single and multi-player options.

Available in March 2006. Not Yet Rated.

MLB&reg 06: The Show

Baseball legacy continues where it left off last year with MLB 06: The Show. The game features two new modes: a "Career Mode", and a "Rivalry Mode." The "Season Mode" sees an update from its last avatar. The Historical Greats option allows core baseball fans to go up against baseball's heroes of yesteryear. If you love baseball, you'll love this game for sure.

Available on March 1, 2006. Rated E.

Daxter™

Daxter finally gets a break and becomes a star in his very own self-titled game. Made exclusively for the PSP, Daxter will push the popular Jak and Daxter world in new directions through the eyes of Daxter as it completes the Jak and Daxter story. The whole game is about how Daxter became a hero by freeing Jak.

Available in March 2006. Not Yet Rated.

Neopets: PetPet Adventures™ The Wand of Wishing™

Developed exclusively for the PSP by Sony, The Wand of Wishing brings a hidden Petpet world of Petaria to life in 3D for the first time. In their search to overcome evil and recover the fabled Wand of Wishing, players will discover more than 100 unique characters and enemies, as well as have the opportunity to collect and use over 800 items. The game should bring a new truckload of traffic to Neopets.com.

Ape Escape® Academy

Ape Escape, picks up where the previous episode left, with Specter forming the Ape Escape Academy, a training ground for monkeys to improve themselves and to renew his attempts at taking over the world. In a collection of more than 40 diverse mini-games that make up the academy, players can work their way through six school years by winning each mini-game.
State of Emergency 2 video game

BAM! Entertainment today announced that State of Emergency 2 is scheduled to release in Feb. 2006. Developed by DC studios, finally nabbed a US publisher and is putting the finishing touches on the long-delayed action game. The game boasts of a more realistic approach to the crowd-based mayhem first made popular by Rockstar Games almost half a decade ago. State of Emergency 2 is vastly better than its predecessor, which was not too popular among gamers. So less said about its' prdeccessor, the better it is.

The game is an outright violence and action packed game. In SOE2( State Of Emergency 2), there is a city being run by a group of militaristic police called Enforcers. Though people of the city don't like these Enforcers, they don't have any choice other than to keep mum about it. Your aim is to get people around the city riled up, and to overthrow the rule of the Enforcers. This can be done by killing Enforcers and blowing up their cars, which pumps the crowd up as they stand around the blazing car, their fists in the air. You can also enlist the help of some of your fellow disenfranchised youths. You can have over 30 members in your gang, and it's funny to see them firing on the Enforcers, which sort of makes you feel as somekind of a gang leader. Cool isn't it!. Most of the levels, take place at night which makes it a lot darker than the previous one.

There are 4 controllable characters in SoE2. Everyone's favorite gangbanger Spanky is back, and badder than ever. The character models appear to have been kicked up a notch, and you can really make out the tattoos that cover Spanky's body. The other character is McNiel, a former cop and weapon's expert. You can beat people to death with your bare hands, hack them up with a machete, or use any number of guns to put large holes in them and also tear a leg off of a member of the crowd and use it to beat the daylights out of another. The blood flows freely in this game and it looks more realistic here making it a violent game. Certainly, not for the light hearted ones. There is no information about the multiplayer mode yet.

SOE 2 is rated "M" mature and priced at $39.99. For more game information, check out Playstation's website

Kaileena is captured by the enemies and she is killed and the vizier unleashes sands of time upon Babylon. Players will have to step into the role of Prince and must battle to regain his kingdom and avenge Kaileena's death. The gamers get a chance to explore the two different sides of the Prince's divided soul. Throught the game Prince will morph back and forth between his normal self and the Dark Prince. There is also internal dialogues between his split personalities with two different voices.

With all these features blended together, the game is all set to deliver a thrilling and rich gaming experience for all the awaiting POP fans. I've been a die hard fan of Prince of Persia franchise. I've played all the versions so far, from the first 2d version of the game to Warrior within. But the Two Thrones, with its 12-15 hour campaign will defnitely stay in fans' minds for a longtime. The game is certainly worth a buy.
