G1 RC33 Brings Us Google LatitudeBy Chris - 02/04/2009 7:17:22 PM |
The RC33 firmware update for T-Mobile‘s G1 has some surprises for us. One of them is the availability of Google Latitude, a program that will let you keep tabs on people’s location. There are plenty of applications ready to give you that kind of information, but with Google stepping up to the plate things might radically change. Everyone trusts Google to some extent. And since their service will become available on the G1 and probably on other future devices, you’ll always have a tool to help you locate friends and family.
