Less than a year ago, specs like this would have only made it to a high-end prosumer digital camera. But all that’s changing…today at the annual Photo Marketing Association Annual Show in Las Vegas FujiFilm announced two entry-level cameras with those specs.
The FinePix A820 and A900 are both entry-level cameras with first time buyers in mind. Both cameras feature a new icon-based graphical user interface for easier switching between 16 pre-programmed scene modes, and access to camera controls, and advanced features such as picture stabilization and Irsimple technology.
Both cameras feature a 2.5 inch anti-glare LCD screen, QVGA (320×240) video recording in AVI format, 10MB or Internal Storage and support for up to 2GB of external memory via either xD or SD cards.
The A820 comes with an 8 megapixel CCD while the A900 a 9 megapixel lens. Both cameras will debut in May 2007 with retail prices of $179.95 and $199.95 respectively.
