Advanced digital camera users looking for a bit more control but are not ready to step into the world of Digital SLRs might just fancy the new Fujifilm FinePix S700 announced just today by FujiFilm USA.
The FinePix S700 features SLR functionality without losing the simplicity and ease of use of a regular digital camera. It comes with a 7 megapixel lens, a powerful 10x optical zoom and support for up to ISO 1600 light sensitivities.
Other important features include picture stabilization mode which reduces blur caused by shaky hands or moving subjects; i-Flash, intelligent sensing of subtle light differences; dual shot mode, the ability to take photos in rapid succession; and 14 pre-programmed scene modes.
Like the rest of Fuji’s recent releases, the S700 supports both xD picture cards and secure digital cards of up to 2GB. Internally 27MB of memory is also available.
Expect a March 2007 release for the FinePix S700 at a retail price of $249.95.
