Freedom Phone: Back to Basics

|

freedom_phone3.jpg

Let's take a break from our usual updates about the newest and most sophisticated mobile phones and go back to basics. The Freedom Phone is being touted as a useful phone for jetsetters. Just in case you find yourself in a place where your mobile phone doesn't work, you can use the Freedom phone to make calls. You would have to preload it with prepaid credits of 60, 100 or 200 minutes for it to work. You don't need a SIM card for the Freedom phone and there are also no roaming charges. It's thin, it's small and it serves its purpose. Of course, there's no LCD, but if you've survived before on an ordinary landline, you'll do just fine using the Freedom Phone.

More pics after the jump.
