Free Windows Phones to Microsoft Employees

030410WindowsPhone_270x358_270x358I have heard that Apple gave out iPhones to those who have worked at the company for over a year. It would appear that Microsoft is stealing from the Apple playbook.

Yes, Microsoft is giving its employees free Windows 7 phones. I’m not certain what make or model they are getting, but I hope they are happy with Bing as a default search engine and AT&T’s early promotional material.

You know, I heard that Google Employees were given Nexus Ones. Is this “giving away our company phone to employees” a new standard?
