Free to play company ngmoco makes lots of money on iPhone appsBy Mark Rollins - 02/23/2010 8:29:14 PM |
It’s hard to believe that free-to-play iPhone games with in-game purchases can make just as much money as an app that has to be purchased, but a startup company known as ngmoco has made about $25 with their games.
The company has recently been bought up by Freeverse, who has created some other successful games for the iPhones. Something tells me that the play-for-free with paid bonuses is going to be the typical business model from now on.
