Well the summer isn’t exactly over and we keep hearing about special back to school offers. We found an interesting one from Apple. If you buy a Mac you will get a free iPod. So let’s see how exactly this works out for a student or an educational staffer who purchase the Mac.
According to Apple’s promotion you get a $299 rebate that cancels the 8GB iPod Touch. Similarly you can get the $399 or $499 rebate which equals the 16GB and 32GB versions. And if the nano is your thing, (but go for the Touch please!) you can get a $199 off which stands for an 8GB iPod nano.
All you need to do is buy a new Mac and an iPod simultaneously. As long as you won’t choose any of the Mac mini, previous-generation 17†iMac, Apple TV, iPhone, iPod shuffle, iPod classic, 4GB iPod nano, or any refurbished products you will be getting the discount.
Where do you buy them from? Well that’s an easy question. Just go for any Apple Online Store for Education Individuals, an Apple Retail Store, Apple Telesales, or an Apple Authorized Campus Store in the USA and get the discount.
Oh and you must be either attending or accepted in a university either a teacher to get the deal.
