There is a new application for BlackBerry devices which is dedicated for all the people that travel a lot by plane, it is named FlightTrack and comes with a good pack of features, including:

- real time information about the flights such as the status, gates, cancellations and aircraft model;
- if the flight is on the US there is also information about the altitude and air speed;
- a notepad function so you can take note of details such as seat numbers;
- being able to save flight itineraries and share them with friends;

The FlightTrack app costs $5 and is already available at the App World.
