The iPhone is great for taking pictures but what really makes it interesting would be the apps that allow you to play around with your captured or stored photos. With the release of 5 new apps, you can play plastic surgeon by feeding the photo to which the application of your choice does the rest.

The five makeover applications are the following:

• WeightMirror – WeightMirror instantly modifies a photograph to simulate weight loss up to 50 pounds, showing before and after pictures in comparison.
• ColorTry – Want to try on a new hair color before it is permanent? ColorTry allows device owners to visualize themselves with close to 100 different colors and shades.
• NewBeauty – As an anti-aging application, NewBeauty instantly adjusts photos to reflect how users would look a few years younger. The simulation shows the subject with fewer wrinkles, less age spots, a smaller nose and several other customizable options.
• Makeup – Makeup instantly applies cosmetic products of any shade, including lipstick, blush and eye-shadow to the subject of any photograph.
• HairMixer – With HairMixer, iPhone users can take pictures of themselves and instantly apply pictures found online or taken by their iPhone to simulate what they would look like with a specific hairstyle. This will be ModiFace’s latest iPhone app, which is slated to be released early June.
