First only iPad novel comingBy Mark Rollins - 07/17/2010 12:32:36 AM |
I believe that we’ve already covered Virgin’s all-digital magazine, and here’s a novel that is coming to the iPad.
It is from Japanese novelist Ryu Murakami, and it is called A Singing Whale. It will have some things a normal book doesn’t have, like a soundtrack. The orchestration will be done by Ryuichi Sakamoto, the man gave us the Academy Award winning The Last Emperor.
The novel costs about $17, which is about the amount of a hardback book.
