Firefox coming to Android this yearBy Jeff Baker - 02/17/2010 11:11:33 AM |

There’s no doubt that among the geeky community, Firefox is one of the premiere browsers of choice. Currently, there are a limited number of ways to go about getting the popular browner on your mobile phone, something the community has longed for, for some time now.
Thankfully, word has just gotten out that Mozilla plans to release Firefox for Android powered devices sometime towards the end of this year.
Additionally, they have said that while they currently have a somewhat usable version of Firefox prepared for the Windows Mobile operating system, Microsoft’s recent announcement of the Windows Phone 7 Series operating system has sent them back to the drawing board.
We’ll keep you updated.
