As we were expecting the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 has been launched by Fido in Canada. Maybe it’s not such a good idea to get the 8100 when you could be choosing a smarter smartphone. The phone costs $400 with a month-to-month plan or $25 with a 3-year contract. And as for data plans, Fido will charge you $15 for unlimited personal email and IM, $25 for 500MB/month, $30 for 1GB/month and $60 for 3GB of traffic per month.
