Tomorrow, September 8th, is the day when Sony Ericsson will announce the G705 aka Kumiko. The G705 which we’ve already seen will have a 3.2 megapixel with LED flash, HSUPA, 3G video calls, and M2 memory card support.

Besides the phone Sony Ericsson is said to launch a few accessories too. The Bluetooth Car Kit HCB-108 and the Digital Photo Frame IDP-100. Some people say that the unconfirmed Walkman phone Eian might get released too.

Such a move would consolidate its share of the flash memory market. Samsung is currently the main chip supplier for Sandisk so a relationship is already there. According to Sandisk spokesmen:

Sandisk periodically has conversations with multiple parties, including Samsung, regarding a variety of potential business opportunities. We evaluate all of these opportunities, but maintain a policy of not commenting on market rumors or speculation.

So does this mean “yes, we are going to be bought out by Samsung but we don’t want to tell you guys” or what?

To further strengthen rumors it appears that J. P. Morgan has been hired as an adviser for the deal as Samsung would want to close the purchase within six months.

Don’t forget this Tuesday we have two major events. Arch enemies Microsoft and Apple are each going to host a special event. Among other things, next generation MP3 players will be unveiled.

What’s surprising to me is that the new 120GB Zune player is already available for purchase. I am not talking about pre-sales or anything. Look for it on Amazon. It should be in stock for a special discount. Well Microsoft how can you allow that? The product you’re going to launch is already available for purchase. You don’t see any new iPod touch coming out before the official announcement do you?

Well it’s now available and ready to ship. It has an 800 x 480 5 inch screen, 802.11b/g WiFi, the Opera Web browser with Flash 9 support, and support for most, if not all, audio and video codecs available.

Like we told you earlier it comes in three versions: 60GB for $350, 120GB for $400 and 250GB for $450. If you want to wait until December, a 3.5G HSDPA version will be available. Or are you waiting for the bigger Archos 7 MID to arrive?

iTunes 8 is at least as much awaited for as the new generation iPods. “Let’s Rock” will probably unveil the new platform and its features. An earlier leak told us about the Genius auto-playlist as well as support for a second generation iPod classic. We will wait for them to be confirmed in about two days from now.

iPhone 2.1 firmware should also be released this Tuesday. This version will repair bugs still existent in current firmware version and it will offer support for background push notification and directional GPS for more advanced navigation.
More features might be available, you know the kind of hidden and not leaked yet features.

T-Mobile is getting ready to launch another Samsung for. At least according to the FCC, the handset is coming from T-Mobile.

The T919 will have GSM/EDGE/850/1850/1900, 1700MHz WCDMA. There’s a rumor about HSDPA, an MP3 player, A-GPS and a full Internet browser with touch support. The FCC hasn’t confirmed all these last features but they are written down.

Like always neither company has confirmed the handset so we don’t have any news about availability and pricing.

In three days we’re going to see the whole new iPod line-up but most people can’t wait patiently. This blurry image is supposed to be the iPod nano 4G which we’ve heard numerous things about already. Either that or some ingenious mind has photoshopped it just because he can. Either way, we’re showing it to you just to make sure we didn’t miss anything important.
