FCC gives Nokia E72 the thumbs upBy Jeff Baker - 07/16/2009 6:55:57 PM |

Yesterday we spotted the Nokia E55 making its way from the FCC and today we see its big brother, the E72 doing the same.
As you can (or can’t) see, the phone is completely unbranded which points to a likely unlocked version hitting the North American marketplace. This is good because you can use it on whatever carrier you’d like but bad because Nokia is likely to charge a fortune for it.
According to the FCC this E72 features HSPA 850/1900 along with quadband EDGE support all for use within North America. However, it also has HSPA 2100 support for when you aren’t in North America.
