FCC Approves Palm Treo 755p

Treo 755pDon't look now, but the FCC approved the Palm Treo 755p smartphone on Friday. Calling it a smarter phone that delivers email, the web and rich media capabilities at broadband-like speeds, the Treo 755p features built-in viewers for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents.

Powered by an Intel XScale 312MHz processor, the 755p runs Palm OS 5.4.9, and you can enjoy tons of apps available for this platform. The 320x320 TFT touchscreen delivers 65k colors, while a 1.3 megapixel camera is thrown in for fun.

Expanding memory is via the included miniSD card slot. There's also Bluetooth and IR on the Treo 755p. The phone weighs in at 160 grams. Among other features, you find Google Maps for Mobile as well.
