Nowadays most if not all portable devices feature the ability to be charged by USB power, if they don’t out of the box you will most likely be able to find an adapter with some searching. However, despite this change in charging there has yet to be a commerically available power outlet that allows USB connectivity.
Luckily, FastMac has stepped in to intro the TruPower UCS, a $10 outlet that not only features 2 normal sockets but 2 USB ports for charging.
Yes, it’s a great idea but it won’t start shipping until early next year.
