Facetime video calling on the iPhone 4By Mark Rollins - 06/08/2010 2:08:49 PM |
In case you missed the keynote at WWDC, then you should know that Steve Jobs did use a lifeline of phoning a friend.
He did so to show “one more thing” about the new iPhone: Facetime. It is a new feature that allows video chat, and it uses the front or rear cameras in portrait or landscape mode. At this time, it is only available as a Wi-Fi only feature, and only for the newest version of the iPhone.
Of course, I’m just not certain that I want to do video calls. Perhaps I would just use a webcam for that.
