I don’t know how much you really need an e-Book reader, especially with the financial crisis on. But if you do, the eSlick is a cheaper alternative and it’s supposed to arrive sometime early next year. In case you don’t want to pay the price of a Kindle from Amazon then eSlick might be the way to go.

The eSlick will come with an introductory price of $230 in February or March and then it will cost you up to $260 to get one. The reader has pretty basic features: E-ink technology, 2GB SD card, PDF concerter and viewer from Foxit. The eSlick is quite the basic reader you might want to get. We’re going to tell you when the reader actually arrives.
