Elegance Meets Functionality -- the Asus U6 Notebook Series

Although at first thought elegance and functionality are incongruous, there are instances when they work in harmony and darn, do they work well together. Take for example, the new Asus U6 Notebook series. There are currently two laptops released -- the U6S and the U6E, both looking positively sleek. The U6S is mocha brown in color while the U6E has piano paint finish.

Other than being ultra sleek, the U6 series is also ultra-slim due to using a special LED panel which is half the width of normal LCD panels as well as 1/3 the weight. As if style and portability aren't enough, the security features of the model would please the geek of every age and race. Not only does the series feature password encryption, it can also use the finger swipe technology.

The U6S and U6E are currently available for retail in North America at $1,799 and $1,749 respectively.
