Remember the OS X USB device developed by EFiX? We’ve talked about this tool for laptops a while back ago. Using it you will be able to install a fresh copy of Max OS X on your PC and once you have done it you could use it without having any compatibility problems. Or so they say. There wasn’t any price mentioned for it back then but it appears things have changed.

EFiX has designed a version 2 device for PC which will be available tomorrow, July 7th. For whatever reason the laptop version 1 device will be launched later this summer. The only difference between V2 and V1 is that the V2 has support for several motherboards and for some prototype motherboard. So although the V2 seems to be more complicated than the V1 but it will get released earlier.

The V2 will cost 80 Euro or about $125 and it will be available for Taiwan and, you weren’t expecting this I am sure, Bulgaria. Other countries are scheduled to get it in the future and the price is going to drop after mass production.
