Sure why not, why not a new Eee Monitor that would actually be very similar to an iMac. Sure why not Asus? Why not try to take over the desktop world too? But you are forgetting something. You’re going to be packing a Windows OS inside, so no matter how cheap the Eee Monitor will be, you will still end up loosing customers to Apple.

Oh and have I mentioned how annoying it is to see Asus going crazEee? Although it’s not officially official, this is the Eee Monitor which was, according to some, covered at Computex 2008. But there aren’t any clear details. Only this pictures which get copied by most of the gadgets bloggers out there and analyzed. Rumors say we’re going to have to options in size, a 19 inch and 21 inch. And if we start counting ports we should get the logical conclusion that there’s a computer inside. How strong? What features? What price? Waiting for more birdies from Asus to tell us.
