eBay Sold 65% of SkypeBy Chris - 09/01/2009 6:08:06 PM |
No need to worry about your VoIP future. eBay has decided to sell 65% of Skype for $1.9 billion but I am sure Skype will fall in great hands. A small group of VC funds are the buyers and hopefully they will offer better VoIP services in the near future. No immediate changes have been announced so far so you will not notice anything different when you access your Skype application from your computer or phone tomorrow. But one could hope that the future will bring good things to Skype fans all over the world.
