EA CEO “accidentally” calls Sony’s motion controller the Gem

I’m sure that we have all heard by now that Microsoft and Sony want to make motion-controllers for their respective gaming systems. Microsoft has Project Natal and Sony has…the Gem?

Granted, that is not its official name. However, this is the name that John Riccitiello, CEO of EA, gave it when he was talking at the UBS 37th Annual Global Media Conference. Whoops! Did he accidentally say something that he shouldn’t have? Sony isn’t saying whether or not they are calling their motion-controller the Gem, but hey, the name is out there. All they have to do is claim it.
