Duracell shows off myGrid wireless charging pad

By Jeff Baker - 08/20/2009 5:40:54 PM

It seems that Duracell, a company once known primarily for making batteries, is increasing their offerings with the above wireless charging pad. If you’re familiar with the Palm Pre’s Touchstone, this is essentially the same deal. All you do is purchase a Power Sleeve/Power Clip and attach it to your device before putting it onto the myGrid wireless charging pad for easy charging.

Duracell says that adapters for popular handsets from manufacturers such as Apple, BlackBerry, Motorola and Nokia will be made available when their wireless charging pad goes on sale.
