Dual SIM Phones Expected to Rise in 2010

Samsung Duo 259Dual SIM capable phones have quietly been around and for 2010, it seems that they are expected to rise. Samsung has been singled out as the major phone maker to provide such phones like the Samsung Duo 259 but this year, expect other brands like Nokia to launch dual SIM capable phones as well.

Several chip manufacturers, like Infineon, MediaTek and Qualcomm, are already making platforms for dual SIM handsets. This was bared by Strategy Analytics which further reported that dual-SIM phones may probably reach 100 million units by 2014.
