Are you using Dropbox? If not you may want to check it out as it has been critically acclaimed as one of the web’s latest and greatest hosting platforms to date. What’s so great about Dropbox is its ability to sync up with your mobile devices and receive files sent to the service from them. This means if you take a picture with your iPhone, you’ll be able to utilize the Dropbox application to quickly upload the photo to the service.

BlackBerry uses, until now, have been left in the dust as there had been no Dropbox application available for Research in Motion‘s mobile platform. Luckily, it was just announced today that Dropbox has released an extremely limited beta edition of their mobile application for the BlackBerry platform. Unfortunately, if you aren’t already in on the beta you probably won’t be as according to reports there were only 500 slots available – all of which have already been filled.
