Droid gets a hack to control USB devices remotely

10feb10droido3b5Droid is putting in an interesting app that can turn an Android-powered device from a USB peripheral to a USB host.

That means you can control printers, webcams, and anything that you would regularly just plug into your printer. That’s all my source says about this, but it sounds like it requires a little bit of hacking. However, I think we all are seeing that this is where wireless technology is headed, so I’m guessing that apps like this will be standard with any mobile phone.
