09 Dec 09 Dragon’s Lair comes to iPhone

Back in the early eighties, video games swept the world. One major advancement was one called Dragon’s Lair, which was powered by a laserdisc. This made the graphics like that of an animated film, and it was done by Don Bluth, creator of such animated classics as An American Tail and The Secret of NIMH.

Dragon’s Lair is now a $4.99 App available for the iPhone. It uses the touchscreen for motion controls, as the game itself is really all about making the right move at the right time. If you don’t, then the screen goes black, and you see Dirk the Daring die in some awful fashion.
