Doubao 728 with 2 GSM SIM Cards
This has to be one of the neatest innovations in cell phones that I've seen in awhile. The new Doubao 728 mobile phone has the ability to take 2 GSM SIM cards, which means you can use one phone for two seperate mobile numbers. ![]()
The SIM cards don't even need to be on the same network, so you can pop in the SIM card from your mobile that you use for work, and one for your personal line, and get calls from both on just once device. That surely beats carrying around two seperate phones all day. When you accept a phone call from one line, the other line will automatically direct calls to voicemail. However, that's to be expected, and isn't much of a big deal.
Other than it's abillity to accept 2 GSM SIM cards, the Doubao 728 sports a 2.2-inch QVGA touchscreen, microSD card slot, and a 0.3 megapixel camera. It is a dual-band phone, and is currently available in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan without SIM cards for approximately $170 USD.
