Donut Not to Be Android 2.0?By Chris - 07/26/2009 8:22:07 PM |
Following up on all this Donut excitement we’ve seen over the last couple of days we hear that the Donut might not be Google’s Android 2.0 version. In fact, an Android team member, Romain Guy, said that Donut is not 2.0 but he failed to describe exactly what this update is. Guy went on further to say that Donut will not come with multitouch support so we’ll have to wait for some other Android version to bring us that feature.
On the other hand Cupcake wasn’t exactly 1.5 since 1.5 came from the Cupcake code branch. Should we assume that Donut is just another code branch that’s currently developing Android 2.0? What about Eclair and Flan?
