DivX Announces DivX Certified LG LAD-9600 In-car DVD Player

LG and DivX announced that the new LG LAD-9600 in-car DVD player has been DivX Certified. The LAD-9600 offers high-quality DivX playback on a large 7" widescreen display. Transferring content is as easy as plugging it into your computer's USB port and copying files.

The LAD-9600 also comes with Bluetooth support for file transfers. A 50W x 4 channel MOSFET amp delivers quality audio. Thanks to DivX certification, users can now enjoy videos in this format,

The LG LAD-9600 will hit markets in Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Central America. There's no news of the player ever making it to the US shores, but I'm sure we will see them here somehow or the other.

No word on the pricing, though.
