Details emerge regarding MSI’s Core i7 powered GT640 gaming notebookBy Jeff Baker - 10/03/2009 12:41:58 PM |

What you see above is MSI‘s recently announced GT640 gaming laptop which the manufacturers are touting as the “world’s most powerful gaming notebook”.
Under the hood of this beast is a 1.6GHz Core i7 720QM processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 with 1GB of dedicated RAM. Couple this with a 15.4″ 1680 x 1050 resolution display, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB of hard drive space, a Blu-ray burner, 2MP webcam, HDMI port, eSATA input and last but not least 7.1 channel audio output.
Now, there was no mention of a release date but considering it is shipping with Windows 7 preinstalled, we can only assume that it will go up for sale sometime around the software’s October 22nd release date.
