Dell to Launch a Smartphone in February?

Look who’s eager to enter the smartphone business! It’s good old Dell, a company that played with the idea for a few years now. We’ve heard rumors about Dell wanting to launch a cell phone before but it looks like this one is the real thing. Dell might even go ahead and launch its first phone next month at 3GSM or Mobile World Congress. It would be really interesting to finally see a Dell smartphone. What’s even more interesting is the future OS of such a phone. The signs indicate that it will be Android or Symbian. So Microsoft’s Windows Mobile doesn’t seem to stand a chance against these two right now. Personally I am really interested to see if Dell is going to enter the cell phone business. I don’t know if Dell is ready for the smartphone business considering what’s out there at the moment. We’ll just have to wait and see!
