Dell is ready to make a new 10-inch netbook. The Latitude 2100 Welch has been leaked and according to unofficial sources the netbook will offer an optional SSD, up to 2GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor and it will all weigh under 3lbs. Other specs include three USB ports, an SD/MMC slot, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/g/n, Bluetooth and 3 and 6-cell battery options. The most interesting feature might be a touchscreen, but none of this has been confirmed yet. The new netbook will come in School Bus Orange or Red Apple versions and it will have a price tag of less than $600 in May 2009 when it comes out.

It offers only EDGE connectivity, no GPS and only a 2 megapixel camera instead of the 3.2 megapixel camera of the E71. And the E71x is coming from AT&T in about a month for just $99. What Nokia will you choose? Or will you be waiting for the N97? [...]
