Dell E1505n Notebook

Today Dell unveiled the E1505n Notebook computer, which comes with the Ubuntu 7.04 Linux distribution factory installed. Yep, that's right - no Windows, no Microsoft! Other features of the affordable new notebook are a 15.4-inch TrueLife display, 512MB shared memory, 80GB hard drive, CDRW/DVD ROM, Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080, integrated Intel PRO Wireless 3945, and Intel Media Accelerator 950 Graphics.

While I wouldn't recommend a computer with specs such as these for anyone doing a lot of gaming, or graphics and processing-intensive, it looks like a good pick for those who have casual uses of the computer in mind. Pricing for the base model starts at $599, but like all Dells, you can customize this one (for extra $$$).
