DC Comics now available on the iPad, PSPBy Mark Rollins - 06/23/2010 2:13:07 PM |
I had heard that the iPad was going to be this “game-changer” when it comes to reading comics, but the comic world seems to have passed by untouched. I mean, there are good comics apps like Comixology for the iPhone and PSP Digital Comics, but something major needs to happen to the iPad.
It just did. DC Comics, better late than never, has just released their iPad apps which allow for in-app comic purchase and download. There are some free previews, like Superman #700 and stories from the famous Batman: Black and White, but most comics will range from $1 to $3.
This app is also available for the PSP too.
