Day 4 with the iPhone

Today I took the iPhone out to do laundry. (If you missed the reason, it's not too late!) Anyway, it took a good two hours, and I couldn't help notice that the iPhone's battery drained way faster than I thought it would.
At the end of two hours of playing songs while browsing the web using Safari (deliberately avoiding Wi-Fi this time, and using AT&T's slow EDGE network), the battery indicator showed just a little over 60%. And this was an iPhone that was fully charged the previous night. Now remember, Apple has put a disclaimer on their battery results that actual numbers may vary.
In the initial two days of using the QWERTY keyboard on the iPhone, I was a klutz. Couldn't type a sentence if my life depended on it. I've gotten better at it now, but the typing is still not as fast as on a Nokia phone. Plus, where's the copy-paste when you need it?
I am liking the iPod functionality more and more (and with good reason - the audio quality and interface are really good), but this is a phone, damn it! The iPhone's speakerphone is good - both when calling and playing songs - but could have been better.
More tomorrow.
