Dalai Lama iPhone apps blocked in ChinaBy Tony - 01/03/2010 11:21:00 PM |
the Chinese law is very strict as we all know, and the latest technology move is related to removing some iPhone applications that include Dalai Lama content, more specifically a couple of quote applications named Dalai Lama Quotes; Dalai Quotes, and others.
There was another application involving the name of Dalai Lama, which is the Nobel Laureates and is no longer available at the Chinese app market.
On top of Dalai Lama there was another person removed from the AppStore, it is an exiled leader named Rebiya Kadeer.
Trudy Muller of Apple, comments:
We continue to comply with local laws. Not all apps are available in every country.
