CrunchPad to be Demoed on Monday in San Francisco

Although the CrunchPad project has been shut down, it looks like the actual makers of the device want to display it next Monday in San Francisco. The CEO of Fusion Garage, Chandrasekar Rathakrishnan, will show the CrunchPad during a video call and some private briefs. Fusion Garage was supposed to create the Pad together with TechCrunch but that’s not going to happen.

Furthermore some lawsuits seem to be pending and these upcoming trials should clarify the issues that appeared in the partnership between TechCrunch and Fusion Garage. Too bad we won’t see the Internet tablet in stores in the following months. It would have been an interesting device in a market that’s waiting for the Apple tablet to become official.
