CrossFire X-Enabled M17 Gaming Laptop from AlienwareBy Chris - 11/03/2008 4:18:26 PM |

Feel like playing a game or two, or three or nine? Order Santa a new Alienware gaming oriented laptop. And they have a new, innovative laptop up for grabs. The M17 is the first CrossFire X-enabled notebook and it’s totally different than the M17x.
Here’s what you will get for $1,399 (that’s the starting price) and more
- Core 2 Quad or Extreme CPU
- up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM
- twin ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 GPUs
- a WXGA+ or a WUXGA panel
- an optional ATSC HDTV tuner
- up to 640GB of HDD space in a RAID 0 array
- a dual-layer DVD writer
- optional Blu-ray reader
- WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, gigabit Ethernet and a
- facial recognition sensor.
A facial recognition sensor… That’s something I’ll never use to protect my gaming laptop experience.
