V5HD is the codename of the latest PMP – portable media player – developed by Cowon. The device will be available in the Japanese market on the 5th of March, and hopefully it will be released for other markets on the upcoming weeks.

The V5HD from Cowon can playback a lot of different file formats, be it video, audio, or images. For instance, it plays videos in AVI, MP4, or MPEG, and audio files in MP3, WAV, or FLAC, and lastly it is able to display images in JPEG, BMP, PNG, or TIF format.

The latest Cowon PMP will become available in 3 sizes: 8GB in white, 16GB in black, or 32GB in black or white.
