Corsair unleashed the Flash Padlock, a family of affordable USB 2.0 external drives for taking your data with you. The need for secure data storage is addressed through hardware rather than software on the Flash Padlock drives. With its innovative Auto-Locking, users won't have to remember to enable its protective feature; as soon as you remove it from the computer, the device automatically locks itself protecting your data.

The Flash Padlock features a simple touch-pad security PIN number entry system. Unlocking it lets you use the device as any standard USB flash memory drive. The PIN can be up to 10 digits long and offers peace of mind to the user. The current line-up includes drives in 1GB and 2GB capacities.
