Following word that retailers have received inventory of a $800 netbook, and the constant barrage of rumors and leaks, Apple has finally sent out invitation cards for its Town Hall event in Cupertino next Tuesday, October 14 at 10AM PST.

As one can expect, the event will be wholly focused on laptops. We don’t know what the company will announce, but surely, it has to be something cheap… maybe a netbook? Less than a week to find out!
