Thecus N2050 eSATA on DAS

Thecus N2050 eSATA on DASThecus announced the N2050 digital data storage device, claiming the position of the world's first eSATA on direct attached storage. Thanks to the two 3.5" SATA drive bays, you can have a storage up to 1 Terabyte, with two 500 MB drives.

The USP of the N2050 is the new high-speed eSATA interface, offering a blazing 3Gb/s (that's bits) transfer speed. Being a dual mode device, it can be configured either for SATA or USB 2.0 mode. The N2050 includes a hardware RAID controller, so you can seamlessly switch betweein RAID 1 (increased data security) or RAID 0 (increased disk performance) configurations.
