Gateway DX300 Desktop PC
Gateway unveiled the new Gateway DX300 desktop PC, breaking new ground by introducing Intel 64-bit ready processors, the heavily reliable BTX chassis for effective cooling and other sophisticated features.
Gateway claims that using the BTX chassis extends the life of key components by up to 82% over ATX PCs. A 7200 rpm SATA II/300 hard drive and 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM complete the basic specs of the DX300. Integrated 5.1 surround sound guarantees a mind-blowing entertainment experience, be it games or listening to audio. Display is a 15" LCD.
Packing punch with the cool features, the DX300 sports an Intel P4 630 with HT technology, ready to support 64-bit software using the Extended Memory 64 Technology. It comes with a DVD+/-R/RW drive and 8-in-1 digital media reader, an essential part to PCs now.
